Zeudi Liew
CHILD -YOUTH PROTECTION SPECIALIST
FOUNDER and LEAD of FUTURE RIGHTS
I am child protection specialist, with over ten years of combined experience across the humanitarian-development nexus, with focus on protracted crises and conflict related contexts.
Following a MA degree in Human Rights and Conflict Management and a MSC in Behavioural studies, I today have substantial working knowledge of child protection issues concerning boys and girls affected by migration and by armed conflict, alongside strong qualitative and quantitative research expertise.
I support national authorities, local and international NGOs , UN agencies and civil society by providing strategic guidance on programme and policy development. Most important, I support children and young people to raise their voice and ensuring their needs and rights are heard and addressed.
I have served as a field child protection practitioner mainly across the Middle East, Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Balkans and Nepal. She is half Italian and half Chinese-Malaysian, native Italian and English speaker, as well as intermediate in French.
I’m a nature lover who likes to challenge myself on hard trails and peaks. I believe in the power of stories to connect us with each other, and I use photography and art to reach out and share. Yoga is the way I stay grounded.
